А вот что действительно необычно у Боуи в "Station to Station", так это инверсия местоимений: here are we, here am I.

В современном языке whom вроде не используется.
Прям совсем не используется?
"whom may be seen as (overly) formal; in some dialects and contexts, it is hardly used, even in the most formal settings. As an exception to this, fronted prepositional phrases almost always use whom, e.g. one usually says with whom did you go?, not *with who did you go?. However, dialects in which whom is rarely used usually avoid fronting prepositional phrases in the first place (for example, using who did you go with?)"

Вы напрасно так думаете :)
"It is very common for native speakers to use "me" in subject position and "I" in object position. This is fine in casual speech but should be avoided in formal writing. The following examples are some ways people might use "me" and "I" in speech.
Me and Anne went to the corner store for drinks.
The teacher gave the books to Jenn and I to hand out to everyone else.
Me and my mom are going to see that new movie tonight.
The president of the college called Robert and I to thank us."

обратите внимание, что во всех примерах I отделено от глагола союзом and
